Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Education Solicitor to join their team on a Fully Remote basis

Position: Education Solicitor                   
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience          
Location: Fully Remote                   
Work Type: Permanent   

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Handle a range of matters involving SEN, EHCPs, exclusions and education related disputes. 
• Taking client instructions and providing advice across a range of education law matters.
• Representing clients at SEND Tribunal hearings and other proceedings.
• Agreeing fees with clients in advance of billing.
• Maintain up-to-date case records in compliance with firm policies and SRA standards. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Qualified Solicitor with 3-5 years PQE (candidates a few years above this will be considered).
• Previous experience of both advising and representing clients in education matters.
• Have a proactive approach to business development and build professional relationships.
• Strong communication, both verbally and non-verbally.
