Remote Clinical / Counselling Psychologist - Must be HCPC registered
Fully remote - UK* only
Permanent. Full or part time (minimum of 3 days per week - 24 hours)
Salary: £63,100 per annum** plus excellent Bupa benefits
**based on full-time hours of 40 hours per week, if part-time this will be pro-rata
Operational hours:
Monday to Friday on shifts between 09:00-20:00
At least one of your shifts will need to be late: 11:30-20:00
Each day will include 5 appointments

As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you’ll support adults with a wide range of mental health needs, delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care through phone and video appointments. You’ll work in a way that puts people first, offering choice, flexibility and compassion, while achieving excellent clinical outcomes.
This role is fully remote, giving you the freedom to work flexibly while still being part of a supportive, connected clinical team. You’ll have access to regular supervision, strong clinical leadership and opportunities to shape how our mental wellbeing services continue to grow and improve.
As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist – Talking Therapies, you’ll:
Deliver high‑quality psychological therapy with a strong focus on safety, outcomes and recovery
Complete thorough assessments and formulations to guide the most appropriate care pathway
Provide therapy via telephone or video, based on client preference
Manage a caseload in line with agreed session limits and individual treatment goals
Work with different models of care, including short‑term therapy, wellbeing support and coaching
Offer one‑off assessments and clear referral recommendations when needed
Signpost or refer clients to other services where appropriate
Contribute to group psychoeducation and mental wellbeing workshops delivered remotely
Work closely with Clinical Leads and the wider Talking Therapies team
Take part in regular individual and group clinical supervision, plus team meetings
Share ideas to help improve client experience and service quality
We’re looking for someone who brings both clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to care.
Essential:
Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
At least one year of post‑qualification experience
Experience working with adult mental health presentations
Confidence managing your own caseload and working to outcomes
Desirable:
Training in additional therapeutic models or specialist areas
Experience working in corporate or organisational settings
Strong leadership or mentoring experience
Skills and qualities:
Clear, empathetic communication – written and verbal
Strong clinical judgement and evidence‑based practice
Confidence using digital systems and electronic records
Ability to plan and prioritise work in a fast‑paced environment
A collaborative, supportive team approach
